What to do |
Miles and miles of
beautiful, rugged shore line with hidden bays and creeks for the canoe
or kayak peddler.
Camp fires at night by the lake; sing along, or just pleasant
conversation under the stars (with no light pollution you can actually
see them all, the milky way, big and little dipper, etc.).
Horseshoe pit, picnic area.
From the swim dock on front of camp still waters, to a sandy beach in a
snug bay, to cliffs that will challenge the diver swimming, can be
enjoyed in most of the 300 plus miles of shore line in Lake Weslemkoon.
Fishing ranges from Bass in all areas of the lake (one of the top ten
bass lakes in Ontario) to perch, blue gill, Lake and speckled trout.
From a casual hike to the more adventurous back packers.
Trails that you can ride ATVs, old logging roads where you will see
deer, elk and many other wildlife species. |
